Additional Learning Needs & Inclusion
Achievement & Inclusion
At Ysgol yr Holl Saint - All Saints' School, we are very proud of the offering and support we put in place for our pupils and their families regarding all aspects of Achievement and Inclusion. Our Achievement and Inclusion offering encompasses all aspects of Additional Learning Needs and Inclusion and is overseen by our Achievement and Inclusion Manager. As a school, we work with wider agencies to identify Additional Learning Needs and then put in place plans and packages of support to help meet these needs, giving all pupils the platform to reach their potential.
Our offering for Additional Learning Needs and Inclusion is a wide and diverse one. As part of the graduated response, we implement support at a universal and targeted universal level and through additional learning needs provision. The support that we provide for pupils relating to cognition and learning, social and communication needs, emotional, social and behavioural needs and physical and medical needs are all part of this offering. In addition, the support we provide for Looked After Children (LAC) and for pupils who have English as an Additional Language (EAL) in also included within this portfolio. The links below contain further information with regard to the graduated response and some of the interventions that we use in school to support pupils as part of this response.
In February 2020, Estyn found that 'The school meets the needs of pupils who are vulnerable or who have special educational needs effectively'.
