The Gresford Governors' Clubs and Playgroup formally launched in September 2022 bringing together the operations of the Gresford Governors' Clubs and Gresford Playgroup Ducks and Ducklings. Our setting benefits from highly experienced and dedicated staff and provides a variety of wrap around care services to the local community across two purpose built centres.
Our service offering includes, Playgroup (Half and Full Day Care for children aged 2+ and Early Education Wrap Around Care), Playgroup Plus (Nursery education wrap around care), Breakfast, Teatime and Holiday Clubs. The also setting supports the transition of pupils into the Maintained Early Education and Nursery offering provided by the school. You can find out about our services by clicking on the links below.
Breakfast & Teatime Club
Gresford Governors' Clubs & Playgroup - Breakfast and Teatime Club
The Gresford Governors' Clubs and Playgroup benefit from an experienced staff team who are dedicated to providing the very best care for your child. The setting welcomes children from the Gresford and wider community and accepts the 30 Hour Childcare Offer, Tax Free Childcare and Childcare Vouchers in addition to payment by credit or debit cards. The Gresford Governors' Clubs and Playgroup provide care for children aged between 2 and 12 years old.
Our setting operates from The Cedar Rooms and the Yew Tree Rooms buildings at All Saints' School. The setting is registered with the Charity Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales. Whilst they do operate from the school site, the Gresford Governors' Clubs and Playgroup are legally and technically independent from the operations of the school.
The Gresford Governors' Clubs and Playgroup operate as a Foundation Charitable Incorporated Organisation which is overseen by a Management Committee made up of members of the Governing Body of All Saints' School. The Responsible Individual is Mr Richard Hatwood who can be contacted through the main school office and the manager of the Breakfast, Teatime and Holiday Clubs is Mrs Carole Hogben. We employ experienced, caring, friendly and well qualified staff to look after the children. All of our staff are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked and trained in emergency paediatric first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene.
Our Breakfast Club opens every school day from 7.45am - 8.45am (for school age pupils) and 9am (for pre school pupils). Our Teatime Club opens every school day from 3.15 - 5.45pm.

The Early Years Department of the school provides support for the setting and children attending to ensure a smooth and successful transition into school. The setting benefits from a fully re-furbished building, extensive outdoor area and access to the onsite Forest School area. The children undertake different activities each day and we have access to a secure, enclosed outside area which we encourage the children to use at each session.
We offer Full Day Care (9am - 3.15pm) for children aged 2 upwards in our Playgroup Setting and offer Playgroup Plus Setting to provide full wrap around care for those children who attend Nursery at All Saints' School. In addition, the Breakfast, Teatime and Holiday Club can all be accessed to provide care from 7.45am - 5.45pm during every school day and 8am - 5.30pm during school holidays. (With the exception of the Christmas Holiday).
We also be offer hot meals, cooked and served onsite for all children who are on the school site for the full day. All bookings and payment will be made using our online booking and payment portal. Please ensure that the electronic registration forms are completed before booking your child's sessions.
Children attending morning Nursery and then Playgroup Plus are escorted safely across to The Cedar Rooms by our staff at 11.30 am. Those who attend afternoon Nursery are taken to the Nursery class following Playgroup Plus at 12.45pm when their session in school begins. All children who are with us all day, or over the lunchtime will enjoy their lunch together in the school canteen or in The Cedar Rooms. Children can bring their own packed lunch (ensuring it is healthy in nature) or can access school hot or cold dinners.

Parent & Toddler Group
We are very pleased to offer a Parent and Toddler Group in the School Hall. This takes place every Wednesday during Term Time only.
Booking is required in advance using the link below and payment of £4 made in cash upon arrival. The session includes free and soft play, music, games, nursery rhymes and story time.

Our Holiday Club opens during every school holiday and staff training day (with the exception of the Christmas Holidays) from 8am - 5.30pm. Sessions can be booked for all day (8am - 5.30pm), morning (8am - 1.30pm) or afternoon (12noon - 5.30pm).

Food & Fun Club
The Food and Fun Programme is a school-based education programme that provides food and nutrition education, physical activity, enrichment sessions and healthy meals to children during the school summer holidays.
At Ysgol yr Holl Saint - All Saints' School, our programme has included daily sports sessions with George, Food and Nutrition sessions, Forest School, Circus Skills, dance, magic and music sessions!
We have been fortunate to offer places for 80 children at no charge to parents and carers and are incredibly proud of our Food and Fun Programme Offering.
