In our Early Years department (Nursery and Reception) we provide the children with a variety of authentic, hands-on learning experiences in our classes and in the outdoor areas. The children have the opportunity to develop their problem-solving skills, resilience, independence and develop a sense of belonging. From observations and pupil voice we regular adapt our learning landscape to reflect the interests and needs of the children. The children's health and wellbeing, and collaborative learning in developed through regular Forest School, physical development session and My Happy Mind. 

Recently, reception had a wonderful time exploring in Forest School - climbing trees, building dens, toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate!
