The children in Dosbarth Penfro have been learning about unacceptable behaviours and when these behaviours are classed as bullying. They have looked at a range of scenarios and discussed whether or not they are bullying using the following questions:

1 - Is the behaviour on purpose and intended to hurt someone?

2 - Is the behaviour repetitive?

3 - Does the victim feel powerless because of the behaviour?

The children then worked on the impact that these behaviours have on the victim and their peers or family and the actions that they should take. We discussed the importance of being an 'upstander' and not a 'bystander'.
