Primary Science Quality Mark
Primary Science Quality Mark
We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark as recognition of the hard work undertaken across the school for teaching and learning in Primary Science.
Science continues to develop and evolve in school as we implement the Curriculum for Wales as part of the Science and Technology Area of Learning and Experience and we are pleased to support the local working group developing approaches to teaching and learning within the Science and Technology Area of Learning and Experience.
Primary Science Quality Mark
At Ysgol yr Holl Saint - All Saints’ School, we really enjoy science and learning about the world around us. We promote a hands-on learning approach to this Area of Learning and Experience, as we feel that children learn best through their own experiences wherever possible.
We have decided to apply for the Primary Science Quality Mark to promote our learning experiences and improve our vision to develop science education even further. This is a year long process which we hope will have a positive impact. Our aim is to help pupils make good progress and to build and consolidate on their own knowledge and skills. Overall, we want teachers and pupils to enjoy their science lessons and develop a passion for scientific thinking and learning.
