Community Learning Programme
We are incredibly proud of our Community Learning Programme which is delivered in partnership with The Little Learning Company, Groundwork and the Local Authority through the Adult Community Learning Grant.
A variety of engaging learning activities take place throughout the school year. We have been very proud to deliver 'Wellies in the Woods' in partnership with Groundwork for pupils to attend with a trusted adult in our Forest School. Over the course of the year, it is planned to expand this programme to other year groups in the near future.
We have facilitated Kitchen Chemistry with 'Xplore Wrexham' for pupils in year 1 and 2 to attend with a trusted adult. During this session, pupils developed a deeper understanding of chemistry within their own kitchen and left with a variety of activities they could take away and complete at home.
Over the course of the last year, we have also delivered 'Helping your Child with Maths' sessions and Adult Maths and English sessions in our custom built ICT Suite.
