Word WASP - Word Articulation Spelling & Pronunciation!

This intervention is to support pupils with regard to their spelling and reading skills. Following teacher assessment or standardised assessment, pupils who would benefit from some additional support are identified. The intervention is delivered by a Learning Support Assistant and  involves listening, hearing, speaking, watching and above all; thinking. The research is clear on this, learning to read and spell should be done in tandem.
